The 12 km Party
Each year San Francisco
holds a 12 km race-and-party, stretching from its East coast to its West. This
year I started about 25 minutes after the race finished, which put me firmly
into the party section of the event.
Close
to 100,000 people moved with the party, thousands more watched from the sidelines,
all had a good time.
The official
rules of the race prohibit alcohol, pets, and nudity. In fact, there were very
few pets in evidence. As far as the other prohibitions go – well, it was a
hot Sunday in San Francisco...
